Love and Compassion for Successful Leadership - Value #3

This week I continue blogging about the value of “being Trustful” as part of leading with Love and Compassion.   Last week I stated that the number one sign of distrust is not “actively listening and/or interrupting.”    This leads to the next question:    What is one of the best ways that a leader can demonstrate respect and trust?

Once again, it goes back to active and genuine “listening.”   Listen to and involve team members in decisions that affect them directly and indirectly.   Best decisions are made “with” and not “for.”

Taking a sports analogy, I am certain that Andy Reid, head coach of the super bowl winning Kansas City Chiefs, includes his coaching staff and quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the development and execution of a successful, winning game plan!  Did it work for the Chiefs?    So.....when was the last time you allowed others in decision making that directly affects them?    I am certain you had a better outcome if you did.

I would “ love” the opportunity to partner with your organization in a 90 minute of half day “Love and Compassion for Successful Leaders” program.   The presentation is filled with real life case studies AND lots of fun and interactive discussions.

Have a great love and compassion leadership week!

David
